You will answer the buyer's biggest question: will this business grow? You size the market, test the target's competitive position, and pressure-test the revenue forecast.

You will answer the buyer's biggest question: will this business grow? You size the market, test the target's competitive position, and pressure-test the revenue forecast.
What you'll do
- Size addressable markets and growth rates by segment, region, and channel.
- Analyze market share, competitive positioning, and barriers to entry.
- Interview customers, distributors, and industry experts to test loyalty and switching risk.
- Analyze customer concentration, churn, pricing power, and backlog quality.
- Review future growth projections and build independent downside, base, and upside cases.
- Identify commercial levers: pricing, cross-sell, new channels, and add-on acquisitions.
- After close, lead the commercial growth plan with sales management and pricing discipline.
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, commercial diligence, corporate development, or B2B sales leadership.
- Strong market research, survey design, and expert-interview skills.
- Advanced Excel and market-modeling skills; CRM and pricing analytics a plus.
- Sector depth in industrial, consumer, energy, or services markets VDS serves.
- MBA preferred.
