As the Workplace Experience Specialist, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of workplace services and facilities operations across North America, ensuring our offices are safe, functional, welcoming, and aligned with our values.
This role combines workplace experience, facilities management, vendor oversight, employee engagement support, and project coordination. Working closely with HR, business leaders, and global workplace teams, you will help create positive employee experiences while ensuring efficient and effective office operations.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing facilities operations, workplace projects, service providers, and employee-facing initiatives. They bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to balance operational priorities while fostering an engaging and productive workplace environment.
You will play a key role in supporting MRI's employees and office locations by driving high-quality workplace services, maintaining operational standards, coordinating workplace improvements, and helping create environments where employees feel connected, supported, and engaged.
Workplace Experience & Employee Engagement
- Lead the delivery of a best-in-class workplace experience across NA offices and remote employees.
- Partner with HR and leadership teams to support employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, inclusion programs, and company events.
- Develop workplace experience metrics and employee feedback programs to continuously improve services and amenities.
- Support regional and global workplace experience standards and initiatives.
- Prepare business cases and financial analyses supporting workplace investments and workplace experience initiatives.
Facilities Operations & Office Management
- Oversee daily operations across NA offices, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective workplace environments.
- Develop and implement workplace standards, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Manage building relationships, landlord interactions, and service provider performance.
- Ensure offices consistently reflect MRI's brand, culture, and operational requirements.
- Provide functional leadership to Office Coordinators, overseeing responsibilities for key duties across Sydney and Singapore offices.
Vendor Management & Service Delivery
- Manage regional vendors including facilities management, cleaning, security, catering, workplace services, and maintenance providers.
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and measurable performance metrics.
- Conduct regular vendor reviews and drive continuous service improvements.
Project Management & Workplace Enhancements
- Support office relocations, expansions, renovations, reconfigurations, and workplace improvement projects across NA.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with MRI workplace standards.
Space Planning & Utilization
- Manage seating strategies, occupancy planning, and workplace utilization programs.
- Track office attendance trends and workspace demand.
- Support flexible work arrangements through workplace design and utilization planning.
Health, Safety & Security
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and workplace regulations throughout APAC.
- Lead emergency preparedness, incident reporting, and business continuity planning activities.
- Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and wellbeing.
