Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily shift operations, supervising staff, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
· Team Supervision & Development: Assign daily tasks, guide employees, monitor performance, and boost team morale. Provide on-the-job coaching, onboard new hires, and support continuous team growth.
· Operational Flow: Manage shift handovers, oversee facility opening or closing procedures, and maintain an organized, cost-effective, and productive workspace.
· Real-Time Problem-Solving: Resolve real-time conflicts, manage unexpected staff absences, and handle escalated customer complaints to maintain consistent operations.
· Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and hygiene, security, and company policies across the entire team through standard protocols and inspections.
· Administrative Reporting: Track inventory levels, balance cash registers, and submit detailed shift reports and performance metrics to senior management.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
· Proven experience leading and supervising teams within a fast-paced operational environment.
· Strong knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and standard operational compliance regulations.
· Proven ability in conflict resolution, quick decision-making under pressure, and task management.
· Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills to keep on-site team engagement high.
· Basic administrative and technical proficiency (e.g., handling reporting, balancing registers, and tracking inventory metrics).
