Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour
3.1 Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
- Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures related to access control is preferred.
- Candidates may be required to provide documentation or references verifying their experience.
3.2 Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
- Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential for most positions.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to navigate software applications, manage files, and utilize communication tools effectively.
3.3 Customer Service Experience (B219)
- Candidates must possess prior customer service experience, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
- Experience in handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support is essential.
- Candidates may be asked to provide examples of past customer service scenarios during the interview process.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and control entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Document incidents, observations, and access-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
