SCOPE: Inside Sales Support functions will consist of administrative support of sales staff, and interfaces with other departments. Development towards assuming additional responsibilities to expand into a traditional inside sales role.

SPECIAL SKILLS:          

• Communication skills, attention to detail, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, technical aptitude, comfortable with numbers and a professional attitude.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or 1 to 2 years of administrative experience. Mechanical aptitude experience desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Extended hours of sitting, ability to lift 15 – 20 lbs. and able to climb stairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Communication with customers via email or telephone on order status and expedited orders
• Engage with Operations Team regarding order status and communicate updates to customers
• Manage front office and main entrance, including but not limited to incoming visitors, company incoming and outgoing mail, and employment applicants
• Enter configured and parts orders into M2M
• Generate basic quotations
• Add new customers and update existing customer vital information into M2M
• Update Quote Log for International Sales associates
• Update Customer Weekly Order Status reports
• Special projects and reports as required by the President, Director of Sales and Inside Sales Manager
• Create job orders and sales order packets for operations team
• Act as backup on phone system
• Perform other duties as assigned
