Teaching certification and Master’s degrees are not required for this role. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

 Ambassador of SA Winning Adult Culture

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders and actively seek and apply feedback to strengthen instruction and student outcomes.
• Serve as an ambassador of SA’s Adult Winning Culture by demonstrating professionalism, excellence, ownership, and an unwavering focus on preparing students for success in school, college, and life.

Scholar & Family Engagement

• Engage and invest families in students’ academic growth, behavior, and overall success through regular, productive communication.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students and a classroom culture of joy, rigor, and high expectations.

Content Study and Instruction

• Deeply study the SA curriculum, assignments, and learning goals.
• Read course texts and complete problems, assignments, and assessments to understand the content and its intellectual demands firsthand.
• Deliver rigorous, engaging instruction that drives mastery of the content.

Evaluation, Assessment, and Continuous Improvement

• Regularly study student work and assessment data to evaluate learning.
• Reflect honestly on results, identify changes needed in your own practice, and work with urgency to improve.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback that strengthens students’ thinking and performance.

Classroom Management 

• Lead and manage a classroom of 25+ students.
• Establish and consistently enforce routines and expectations that maintain a productive classroom environment and maximize learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy; a background in education is not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
• Ability to work in person in Miami, Florida.
