About the Role
Sales Operations exists to enable our sellers to do what they do best—sell. Our team supports the sales organization by providing strategic direction, data‑driven insights, and operational support that help sales teams focus on the right opportunities, work more efficiently, and better serve customers.
As a Sales Operations Intern, you will support initiatives that shape how the sales organization plans, prioritizes, and executes. You’ll work on projects that involve analyzing information, supporting strategic planning, and responding to real business needs—helping translate insights into clear recommendations and actions. This role offers exposure to both structured, long‑term initiatives and more dynamic, fast‑moving requests, providing a well‑rounded view of how Sales Operations partners with sales leaders to drive effectiveness and results.
Key Responsibilities
Translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations that help sales leaders focus on the highest‑impact opportunities
Provide responsive, high‑quality support for evolving business needs that enable confident decision‑making
Execute analyses and initiatives that help align sellers to customers’ needs, enabling more effective sales engagement
Contribute to sales enablement efforts, including process documentation, guidelines, and internal communications
Partner with cross‑functional teams to support initiatives that improve sales efficiency and execution
Prepare concise presentations and summaries to communicate insights, decisions, and next steps
Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, or communication that help sellers work more effectively
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
Experience working with data, analysis, or business problem‑solving through coursework, projects, or internships
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize information
Interest in supporting sales teams and improving business operations
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to reporting, dashboards, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Coursework or experience in operations, analytics, or project management
Interest in translating insights into business actions
Job Summary
Gain hands-on experience in areas such as marketing, human resources, information technology, sales, operations, finance, logistics, business development, merchandising, and/or other departments.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Prepares and delivers insights and recommendations based on analyses.
- Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oral and written recommendations to management.
- Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
- Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
- May assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas in order to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives.
Nature and Scope
- Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly defined problems. Demonstrates skill in data analysis and techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data.
- Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises judgment. May be paired with a mentor. Work typically involves regular process checks or review of output by a coworker and/or supervisor.
- May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
