Experience: 12 to 15 Years 

Domain Preference: Manufacturing & Supply Chain background 

Focus: SAP PP + Logistics (Senior Lead Profile) 

Location: Preferably Bangalore 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with strong Logistics expertise to lead clients’ production planning and supply chain transformation initiatives. The candidate should be a seasoned professional with 12 to15 years of experience, capable of independently leading teams, engaging with multiple business stakeholders, and managing risks across complex manufacturing landscapes. 

This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on expert who has worked extensively in the supply chain domain and can drive end-to-end PP solutions with seamless integration across logistics modules 

Responsibilities 

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP design, configuration, and implementation across discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing scenarios. 

• Drive Production Planning and Supply Chain initiatives, ensuring alignment with HPE's manufacturing strategy. 

• Provide expertise across critical PP sub-areas: 

• PP-DI (Discrete Manufacturing) 

• PP-PI (Process Industries) 

• PP-REM (Repetitive Manufacturing) 

• Demand Management & SOP (Sales & Operations Planning) 

• MRP / MPS (Master Production Scheduling) 

• Manage and govern PP Master Data: 

• BOM (Bill of Materials) 

• Routings 

• Work Centers 

• Recipes (for Process Industries) 

• Production Versions 

• Ensure smooth cross-module integration with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, FI-CO, PM, and PS. 

• Lead multiple stakeholder engagements, including business leaders, supply chain teams, and IT counterparts. 

• Drive risk management activities — identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across PP and logistics processes. 

• Mentor and lead functional teams, providing guidance on best practices and solution design. 

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term solutions. 

Must-Have Skills 

• 12 to 15 years of hands-on SAP PP consulting experience with strong Logistics exposure. 

• Proven experience working in the Supply Chain domain. 

• Deep expertise in: 

• PP-DI, PP-PI, and PP-REM 

• Demand Management & SOP 

• MRP / MPS 

• Master Data: BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Recipes, Production Versions 

• Strong cross-module integration knowledge with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, FI-CO, PM, and PS. 

• Demonstrated expertise in risk management within SAP and supply chain projects. 

• Proven ability to lead teams independently and manage multi-stakeholder environments (including business users and leadership). 

• Strong functional and process knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing operations. 

Good-to-Have 

• Experience with S/4HANA Manufacturing and aATP / PP-DS (Advanced Planning). 

• Exposure to SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning). 

• Knowledge of MES integration with SAP PP. 

• Prior experience leading global rollouts in manufacturing organizations.
