Job Description
The Program Manager – Drive System Solutions is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional programs that support the development, launch, and delivery of drive system solutions.
This role works closely with the Drive System Solutions Product Manager and Systems Engineering team to ensure alignment between product strategy, solution development, and execution.
Core Objective: Drive program execution excellence by aligning cross-functional teams to deliver integrated drive system solutions that meet customer needs, business objectives, and time-to-market targets.
Core Objective: Drive global product strategy and portfolio execution while accelerating market adoption and lifecycle value of the Drive System Solutions product line.
Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with product strategy and customer requirements
Develop and manage detailed program plans, including milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements
Ensure on-time and high-quality execution of product and solution development initiatives
Identify risks, manage mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues impacting program delivery
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the central coordination point between Product Management, Systems Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Engineering
Ensure alignment across teams on program priorities, deliverables, and timelines
Facilitate regular program reviews and communication to stakeholders
Drive accountability across functions to ensure successful execution
Support to Product Management
Partner with the Drive System Solutions Product Manager to translate product strategy and roadmap into executable programs
Support product development initiatives from concept through launch
Ensure alignment between product requirements, program plans, and execution activities
Track program performance relative to business objectives (growth, margin, adoption)
Support to Systems Engineering Team
Collaborate closely with Systems Engineering to ensure solution development activities are aligned with program timelines and deliverables
Enable efficient execution of system-level design, validation, and integration activities
Help prioritize engineering efforts based on business impact and customer needs
Ensure technical deliverables are completed and integrated into overall program execution
Product Launch Management
Coordinate product launches, ensuring readiness across engineering, operations, sales, and support functions
Ensure effective communication and alignment during product introductions and transitions
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required
5+ years of experience in program management or related roles in automation or industrial systems
Experience working with integrated systems, motion control, drives, and automation technologies preferred
Proven ability o manage complex, cross-functional programs in global environments
Strong leadership and coordination skills without direct authority
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
Customer-focused mindset with experience supporting application-driven product development
Familiarity with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., stage-gate, Agile, or hybrid approaches) preferred
