Job Summary

 

The Manager Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (QHSSE) is responsible for safeguarding, monitoring, and managing all frameworks related to quality, health, safety, security, and the environment within Swissport Netherlands in the broadest sense.

 

Our services are delivered in accordance with Swissport’s established regulations.

The focus lies equally on the safety within which operations are performed and the quality of the services provided.

 

Customer and service orientation are key, while ensuring full compliance with all internal and external regulations concerning safety, health, quality, security, and the environment.

 

Close collaboration with Learning & Development ensures the relevance and quality of the training content.

Your activities

• Developing, monitoring, and optimising procedures related to safety, health, security, environment, and quality within the organisation, including ISAGO compliance;

• Managing the Coordinators Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment;

• Implementing and monitoring internal and external quality control systems, including planning, organising, and facilitating internal and external audits;

• Contributing from your area of expertise and managerial role to the strategic policy of the organisation;

• Advising the Management Team on safety, quality, security, health, environment, and training matters;

• Developing an annual plan for QHSSE in line with strategic objectives, including required prerequisites;

• Identifying and reporting non-compliance with quality standards and SLAs to the management board.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Strong leadership skills and resilience under pressure;

• Ability to maintain overview across all processes;

• Knowledge of and attention to regulations related to safety and quality systems;

• Observant, critical, and accurate;

• Knowledge of and attention to policy frameworks, regulations, and rules regarding safety, health, security, and environmental standards;

• Strong command of both Dutch and English.
