Department: Asset Management

Reporting To: EVP – Asset Management & Service Oversight
Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000 / year
Description
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as a primary point of contact with servicers and external counsel.
- Work in partnership with servicers to develop tools and processes that achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead monthly servicer portfolio review meetings and ensure effective communication.
- Develop and implement performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to guide decision-making.
- Ensure timely and compliant servicer actions; proactively address delays and inefficiencies.
- Review and redesign processes internally and with the servicer to address root causes and improve consistency
- Identify risks in legal or servicing processes and implement long-term solutions
- Build scalable frameworks for repeatable, efficient asset management execution.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in asset management, servicing oversight, or related areas.
- Expertise in loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, REO and litigation practices, including experience reading and interpreting legal documents.
- Expertise in evaluating processes to identify root causes of volatility.
- Experience working with third-party servicers, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced Excel skills required - including ability to represent scenarios efficiently in Excel; SQL proficiency or willingness to learn preferred.
- Leadership & Ownership: Takes full ownership of asset performance and outcomes. Leads with initiative and follows through with minimal direction.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong understanding of processes, documentation, and loan servicing. Highly analytical; comfortable interpreting data and making data-driven decisions.
- Strategic & Systems Thinking: Able to zoom out to process-level thinking while executing at the loan level. Focused on root cause resolution and building long-term, scalable solutions.
- Communication & Influence: Skilled at translating complex processes and servicing issues into clear, actionable steps. Able to influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Process Design & Continuous Improvement: Passion for building and refining processes in evolving environments. Seeks to reduce volatility and improve outcomes across asset management functions.
- Integrity: Ensures compliance, accuracy, and ethical oversight across all matters.
- Collaboration: Builds productive partnerships across legal, servicing, and internal teams.
