Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around Mills, WY. This position is a third shift opportunity with a pay scale of $32/hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven Craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior workmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Weld heavy structural plate
- Weld flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Read blueprints and weld procedures
- Fabricate and assemble weld projects
- Measure welds accurately
- Perform air carbon arc gouging
- Use cutting torches and beveling material
- Grind and prepare components
- Follow AWS welding procedures
- Read blueprints and welding drawings
- Understand AWS welding symbols and terminology
- Follow Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Read tape measures in inches and millimeters
- Convert millimeters into inches
- Perform basic math calculations
Requirements
- Understand preheating practices
- Must be experienced with:
FCAW (.052 wire) – Vertical 3G
GMAW (.052 wire) – Flat and Horizontal
100% CO₂ shielding gas*
Air carbon arc gouging (.025 carbon rod)
