Full-time ESL Instructor | Enseignant.e d'anglais langue seconde (Remote)

As a full-time ACA-Prolang instructor, you will deliver engaging and interactive second-language training to adult professionals in an online environment. Your courses will focus on oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression, allowing learners to communicate effectively in professional contexts.

Responsibilities 

• Deliver communicative ESL courses aligned with ACA-Prolang standards 

• Design and adapt content using provided materials 

• Deliver assessments and track learner progress 

• Adapt to learners’ professional language needs 

• Communicate regularly with program coordinators regarding learner progress, scheduling, or issues 

• Maintain accurate course documentation and records 

• Support content development or revision projects (as needed) 

Requirements 

• Availability between 7am and 6pm 

• Classes must be taught from Canada, with a preference for instructors based in Québec City or Montréal

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Canadian university (or comparative evaluation from an accredited institution) 

• Minimum of 600 hours of experience teaching adult ESL (within the last six years) 

• Familiarity with Federal Language Levels and experience teaching public-sector learners, an asset 

• A working proficiency in French
