Description
Temporary, short-term (up to 3 months) Mason position open for a commercial project in Bronx, NY.
Mason Responsibilities:
- Assist in building layout, install block, brick ,stone , concrete ,etc
- Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
- Construct and maintain rigging devices, trusses and other structural assemblies.
- Operate and care for construction equipment, machines, and power tools.
- Follow instructions from foreman.
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to foreman.
Mason Requirements:
- Skilled Mason preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to do physical labor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Preferred experience on commercial construction job sites.
- Completion of or willing to complete Site Safety Training (SST)
Approximate job length is 2-3 months, depending on project schedule. Paying $31.25/hr.
