Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic delivery driver for our lumber yard. We are a very busy yard and you'll need to be able to keep up with the pace of business that we maintain. We have a 32ft Flatbed with a piggyback forklift.
TEMP-TO-HIRE
Responsibilities:
- Safe loading, handling and transportation of materials and heavy cargo
- Delivering materials to the destination and unloading materials properly
- Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service at all times
- Responsible for maintaining vehicle in safe operating condition
- Inspects the truck for any defects or problems which might arise before or after trips, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Required Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and interpret standard unit tape measures.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, and other employees.
- Piggy back forklift experience required.
Walk in interviews Monday through Friday 8am-3:30pm
Clean MVR required. 4 yrs CDL A exp required!
