REQ13536 Assistant Manager, Social Media (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assistant Manager, Social Media reports to Manager, Social Media and is responsible for the execution of social media strategy and implementation to drive brand advocacy and customer conversion & loyalty.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage relevant social media content to drive growth and engagement on social media platforms.
- Manage monthly social media calendars, monthly social media shooting and deliver monthly reports.
- Assist in planning and implement social media outreach campaigns to drive awareness.
- Develop and manage social influencer programs, social media shooting programs and entertainment shows.
- Manage relationships with social media platform partners and agencies on campaigns.
- Analyze and review social media marketing effort.
- Monitor social media trends and key competitors’ activities.
- Manage and monitor efforts in building online reviews and reputation.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media
- Perform other duties when needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- At least 3 years relevant experiences in China social media, ecommerce, brand marketing and/or PR, with at least 2 years specifically developing campaigns on Weibo, WeChat, RED and Douyin platform.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media is preferred.
Skills/Competencies
- Highly proficient in key social media platforms, especially WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, RED, Dianping platform and requirements.
- Knowledge of current China social media trends, measurements and tracking methods.
- Strong writing skills in both Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English.
- Highly organized and an excellent communicator in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
- Time management and project management skills are required
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal business units and external vendors.
- Very well organized with a proven ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility and resourcefulness to respond to a fast-paced work environment with shifting deadlines.
- Flexible to work on evening time and weekend.
- Able to lead and complete social media campaign independently.
