Work-Life Balance That Works for You! 4-Day Work Week MFM Opening

Responsibilities

Ready to make a real difference in the lives of mothers and babies—while living in one of the most vibrant cities in the country?

At Maternal Fetal Medicine of Puget Sound, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, you’ll join a passionate team delivering cutting-edge, compassionate care to families across the Pacific Northwest. Based in Seattle, this is more than a job—it’s a chance to grow your career while making a lasting impact.

Step into a dynamic, high-acuity environment at Swedish Medical Center–First Hill, where you’ll manage a diverse caseload in a state-of-the-art facility with:

  • Over 7,500 annual deliveries
  • Full-scope MFM procedures and reproductive health services
  • Consultative outreach in Everett and Issaquah
  • A regional referral base spanning the Pacific Northwest and southern Alaska

Enjoy a 4-day work week with just 18–19 workdays per month, including:

  • Home call at Swedish–First Hill with robust support from laborists and nocturnists
  • Only 3–4 calls per month and 10 weekend calls per year

Bring your skills to a practice where advanced care and continuous learning go hand in hand. You'll work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while staying at the forefront of maternal-fetal medicine.

  • Provide expert care in prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, and genetics
  • Manage complex cases in both hospital and clinic environments
  • Bonus: Experience in fetal echocardiography or CVS is welcomed—but not required

You’ll be supported by a collaborative care team including:

  • MFM ARNPs for postpartum rounding
  • 24/7 OB hospitalist and nocturnist coverage
  • 70+ bed NICU and PICU

Your expertise doesn’t stop at patient care—it helps shape the future of maternal-fetal medicine. Whether you're passionate about teaching or driven by discovery, you'll find meaningful ways to grow and give back.

  • Educate the Next Generation: Engage in hands-on teaching with OB/GYN residents, sharing your knowledge and shaping future leaders in the field.
  • Drive Research Forward: Contribute to impactful clinical research with support from Pediatrix-sponsored trials and local academic partnerships.

About The Area

Seattle offers the perfect blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty. Whether you're into hiking, kayaking, art galleries, or gourmet dining, you’ll find your niche here. Enjoy:

  • A thriving cultural and culinary scene
  • Easy access to mountains, forests, and Puget Sound
  • A progressive, family-friendly community
