Join a Magnet®-recognized Nursing team at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip as we expand into a new era of patient care with the upcoming opening of our state-of-the-art Patient Care Pavilion—a 300,000 sq. ft. facility featuring private rooms, advanced surgical suites, and a transformative Emergency Department.
We are actively hiring Nursing Assistants to support our Emergency and Med-Surg units who are ready to grow with us—and be part of something big.
Responsibilities
The EDTA provides bedside patient care in the Emergency Room and is an integral part of the care team.
Responsibilities:
- Performing phlebotomy
- Administering EKG
- Patient Care
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience required
- Phlebotomy and EKG Certifications highly preferred
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting required
- BLS - Must be from American Heart Association
Pay Range
USD $26.82 - USD $34.86 /Hr.Qualifications
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
