Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Property and Asset Management Analyst based onsite out of McClellan, CA. This position offers a 9/80 schedule.

What You’ll Get to Do:

This A2 level position will serve as Government / Customer Property Administrator (PAO) for select programs in Sacramento (McClellan) for NGMS.   While other programs exist in Sacramento (McClellan) for MS, support for other programs may be required from time to time.  The primary role of PAO will be supporting the contractual compliance to the Government Property terms of the contracts that typically include the requirements of FAR 52.245-1 ten outcomes, starting with Acquisition, Receiving, Records, Physical Inventorying, Reporting, Subcontractor Control, Utilization, Maintenance, Relief of Stewardship, and Property Closeout.  This activity will involve use of program unique systems / tools / software.  Contract requirements correlate to NG’s Principles and Operating Practices (PrOP) (aka: “Procedures”).   Government and Customer Property terms of the contract and familiarity and command of NG’s PrOP V100-MSM “Gov’t Property” and related PrOP will be necessary. 

While serving as a compliance activity, a high level of collaboration between the Program Office, and this position will be necessary. This role will maintain property accountability records and determine condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management; develop, recommend, and implement property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports.  This role will also require liaison with the ultimate customer and reporting back to the Government Property homeroom and related program office personnel. This position will be located at the Sacramento (McClellan) facility as an in the office position.

The successful candidate will have the ability to learn and contribute individually and as part of the program area team, and interest and curiosity about industry trends and best practices in pursuit of excellence about Government and Customer Property.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 2 years’ experience in Property/Asset Management or related field (i.e. logistics, auditor/assessor, supply chain, contracts, etc.)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Experience operating hand pallet jack
• Experience operating basic hand and power tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A current/active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s or higher-level Degree(s)
• Experience in Government Property/Asset Management
• Forklift experience
• Aerospace/Defense Industry experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
