CT Technologist / Cat Scan / Computed Tomography

Our client, a 100+ bed healthcare facility located about 45 mins from Hendersonville, NC in the Southwestern part of NC near the Blue Ridge foothills, has a need for a CT Tech to join their team. You will be working Monday through Thursday, 3p-1:30a.

• Reviews patient history and physician’s orders.
• Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if needed.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate's Degree required.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Licenses: ARRT with additional certification in CT. If not certified in CT, must be certified within one year of date of hire or transfer to position.
