Back-of-House Supervisor | Full-Time | Armani Caffè, Oakridge Park, Vancouver
Opening Fall 2026
As the Back of House Supervisor of Armani Caffè, you will be part of a diverse leadership and culinary team, whom you will support and motivate each day. You will help align the back-of-house team on delivering consistent food quality, efficient production, strong food safety and sanitation standards, and an exceptional guest experience rooted in precision, authenticity, and genuine hospitality.
As the Back of House Supervisor, you will support the General Manager with kitchen readiness, menu execution, production planning, service flow, inventory control, and culinary team performance. Your daily presence in the kitchen will allow you to coach associates in the moment, identify opportunities to improve quality and productivity, and ensure shift communications are clear, timely, and consistently cascaded throughout the team.
To succeed in this role, you are willing to lead by example and with integrity, collaborate, remain composed under pressure, and be results-oriented. You will support daily back-of-house management, including product quality, preparation and service standards, labour productivity, food safety, cleanliness, waste control, and consistent execution.

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum three (3+) years of experience in a similar restaurant kitchen, culinary, or back-of-house role, with at least one (1+) year of supervisory, shift lead, or team lead experience; luxury hospitality or high-volume café experience is preferred
- Post-secondary culinary education is preferred; FoodSafe Level 1 & Serving It Right certification is required or must be obtained and maintained, and advanced food-safety training is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of food preparation, production planning, knife and equipment safety, sanitation, temperature control, allergen procedures, date labelling, food rotation, and waste management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence partners, coach associates, organize production, and motivate direct reports
- Proficiency with Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as inventory, scheduling, kitchen management, and POS systems where applicable
- Open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
- While not required, Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin, or other language skills are considered a strong asset
