B2C S&OS + Inventory Manager

MISSIONS : 

  •  - S&OS Manager - Facilitate Region Sales & Operations Steering process (S&OS) by anticipating business evolutions and ensuring decision making  and alignment (1 single plan output) at tactical horizon and its execution in operations. Develop plans to achieve the objectives and decisions outlined in the S&OS process.
  • - Inventory Manager - Guarantee stock level and quality to support business ambitions (service; costs; growth)

KEY EXPECTED ACHEIVEMENTS :

  • S&OS Manager :

S&OS Process:

• Facilitates pre S&OS and executive S&OS meetings

• Challenges business assumptions (supply, demand, inventory) which feeds the process, based on the relevant data analysis

• Identifies and challenges stakeholders on S&OS decisions needs (mold orders, industrialization, upside & downside capacities activation lead –time…)

• Guarantees decision making

• Defines, recommends and aligns stakeholders on new plans (demand, supply, inventory)

• Provides validated demand & supply plan

• Provides validated inventory plan (including prebuild volumes) and sales plan

• Identifies opportunities and risks through analysis of demand trends, supply proposals and inventory projections

• Proposes arbitration and what if scenarios with related facts and analysis against corporate priorities

• Provides operational advice and guidance to executive teams and their staffs in the different S&OS process steps and ensure their accountability

• Conducts post-mortems and lessons learned when relevant

• Maintains S&OS process maturity and progress plan

Defining action plans:

• Defines action plans to accomplish the S&OP decisions within the designating limits of resources

• Validates inter MO balancing via bridges and/or transfers

• Represents LB to the MO supply review, gives business inputs and challenges scenarios

• Ensures the implementation of the intra & intercontinental bridge plans (plan passerelle)

• Secures major Phase-in/Phase-out plans at LB’s level

Communicating & supporting operations:

• Guarantees communication to operations

• Guarantees tactical/operations link (including export commitments)

• Arbitrates, if required,on operational horizon if not defined in S&OS

  • Inventory Manager :

• Defines for each inventory component, operational inventory levels

• Aligns stock levels consolidation with stock targets

• Steers stock quality, identifies and analyzes excess and deficit inventory configurations and implements corrective actions

• Analyzes inactive stocks' root causes and steers corrective actions

• Analyzes correlation between inventory level and service and implements corrective actions

• Challenges input assumptions to stock definition (forecast accuracy for biased items, current lead times vs targets compliance; current flexibility vs targets compliance)

• Disaggregates prebuild volumes to item level

• Ensures link with execution (DC Saturation risk solving; DOT management; shortage management..)

• Analyzes total inventory and recommends inventory management improvement to the organization in consulting with customers, stakeholders and suppliers

• Develops strategy that optimize stockholding costs whilst providing targeted service level availability (centralization/decentralization, third party deliveries, same day express deliveries, …) and provide inventory policy framework to the organization
