Position Overview
As a Housekeeping Aide, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout our facility.
You'll be responsible for cleaning assigned resident rooms and common areas while following established sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures. You'll also help prepare rooms when residents are discharged or transferred, ensuring the space is clean, disinfected, and ready for its next resident.
This is an active role for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized and understands that a well-maintained environment helps residents feel comfortable and cared for.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned resident rooms, common areas, and general facility spaces
- Clean and disinfect floors, furniture, beds, bathrooms, and other surfaces according to established procedures
- Help move and organize residents' personal belongings when residents are discharged or transferred
- Prepare rooms for new residents following discharge and transfer procedures
- Follow infection control principles and proper cleaning and personal hygiene practices
- Safely handle and store cleaning compounds and other hazardous substances
- Collect and dispose of trash and refuse properly to help prevent infection, pests, and safety hazards
- Follow facility safety procedures and remain alert to fire regulations and potential hazards
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors
- Follow all applicable facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or laundry experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning, safety, and infection control procedures
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
Individuals under 18 years of age must not operate dangerous equipment, including compactors.
