SALARY RANGE: $65,600 - $77,900 +
Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant.
BONUS: Starting Bonus at Target $9,840
Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on individual performance and overall business results, pursuant to the Bonus Plan; listed amount are targeted values and not guarantees

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Packaging Quality Technician is a front-line Quality professional responsible for ensuring that products leaving the brewery meet established Quality, Food Safety, Regulatory and Packaging standards. You will spend significant time on the production floor working alongside Packaging teams, using data and technical knowledge to identify problems, prevent defects and improve processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packaging Quality & Food Safety
Perform routine in-process and finished-product testing in accordance with Quality programs.
Monitor critical packaging parameters such as fill volume, package integrity, seams, dissolved oxygen, carbonation, pasteurization, coding, labelling and appearance.
Verify packaging processes are operating within established specifications.
Support HACCP, food safety and regulatory requirements.
Identify, document and escalate quality deviations and non-conformances.
Support product holds, investigations and product release activities.
Review Quality Control records and follow up on abnormalities.
Quality Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Lead Quality and continuous improvement projects
Provide real-time Quality support to Packaging operations.
Investigate quality issues and help determine root cause.
Analyze Quality and production data to identify trends and recurring problems.
Participate in structured problem-solving activities such as 5-Why, Pareto and root-cause analysis.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Brewing to eliminate sources of variation.
Follow up on corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
Coach and train frontline employees
Laboratory & Data Management
Complete required laboratory and production-floor testing accurately and efficiently.
Enter and maintain Quality data in LIMS and other systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, microbiology or any science related field preferred
2-3 years expirience in production/manufacturing enviornment
Relevant and applicable experience in Quality control in a food production environment
Basic understanding of HACCP and Food Safety principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to learn technical processes, equipment, and systems quickly.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
