HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDAY
Homestead-Miami Speedway has been open since 1995 following an initiative to spur economic recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. The Speedway, which was founded by Miami businessman, racing enthusiast and philanthropist Ralph Sanchez, is a 650-acre facility that features a 1.5-mile oval and 2.21-mile road course. The Speedway hosts on-track events nearly 300 days per year and generates more than $301 million annually for the region. NASCAR crowned champions in all three of its national series at Homestead-Miami Speedway for 18 straight years (2002-19) and will once again host NASCAR Championship weekend in 2026.
Homestead-Miami Speedway Guest Services Event Support Roles
NASCAR seeks talented professionals to join our event staff in the position of Support Team, Admissions Crew, Venue Crew, Tram Driver, Tram Ambassador, Tram Attendant, ADA Cart Support, and Information Crew based at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
SUPPORT TEAM
Setup and teardown items such as signage, tents, tables, chairs, and steel barricades, transporting staff to and from specific work locations on property, deliver items such as water coolers and event information to Fan Crew Members, assist all Guest Services departments with various tasks. Candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
ADMISSIONS CREW
Admissions Crew checks each guest's ticket or credential for valid entry into the Venue or infield.
VENUE CREW
Venue Crew are responsible for bringing our guests an unforgettable race day experience! Ushers will assist by directing guests to the location of their seats and other points of interest, enforcing Speedway policies and procedures, providing event information to guests, and making sure everything in their area is in working order. Venue Crew may also work as elevator attendants to ensure the safety of our guests.
TRAM DRIVER
Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting our guests to various areas of the Speedway and ensuring that Tram Ambassadors are performing their duties. All drivers must have a valid Class A, B, or C CDL with current physical. Candidate must also pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
TRAM AMBASSADOR
Ambassadors are paired with a Driver and ensure that all safety equipment is operational and in good repair. Ambassadors sit at the front right corner of the tram facing the passengers, ensure that passengers remain seated, make safety announcements, and provide assistance when necessary with loading/unloading.
TRAM ATTENDANT
Tram Attendants proactively assist and greet our guests as they approach the tram plaza, professionally and courteously answer questions, advise guests which queue to enter, and assist with loading/unloading the tram, including guests with disabilities.
ADA CART SUPPORT
ADA Cart Support safely transport guests with disabilities, via golf carts, to and from designated locations. Candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
INFORMATION CREW
Information crew is positioned at information centers that are located around property and in the Venue. The guest services representative must be able to think quickly, utilize their tools to provide our fans with accurate information in a timely manner, and ensure our fans have a positive race-day experience.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Other Skills, Abilities, and/or qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with others and take direction.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous attitude with guests at all times.
- Ability to work nights/weekends as assigned.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Some positions may require a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle license inspection report.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
