In this role, you’ll collaborate with claim and underwriting professionals, product managers, data scientists, actuaries, and IT professionals to transform structured and unstructured data into advanced analytics solutions. We’re looking for someone with strong technical expertise, keen attention to detail, and adaptability. The ideal candidate thrives in problem-solving, communicates effectively, and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on‑site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures, primarily leveraging cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from internal systems and external data sources, ensuring data is readily available for analytics use cases
Automate recurring operational reporting processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and reduce manual effort
Support data engineering needs for predictive analytics and machine learning initiatives, including feature engineering, data preparation, and model enablement
Assist in modernizing data platforms by supporting migration from legacy systems to cloud-based data architectures
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization
Provide advanced technical support to end users and team members by resolving data-related issues in a timely manner.
Serve as a trusted advisor in the development of predictive analytics, AI, generative AI, and machine learning models.
Engage, as needed, with our AI Automation Hub, AI Innovation Lab, AI Champions, and delivery teams to develop and implement high-impact AI solutions
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Scope of Job/Qualifications:
Demonstrates proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, SQL, R, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms and modern development frameworks.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica or similar technologies)
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
Experience with Generative AI tools and agentic coding
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering solutions.
Maintain an understanding of machine learning concepts and their software engineering implications.
Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.
Provide technical expertise across a range of applications, systems, and technologies.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Demonstrates knowledge of department policies and procedures, as well as the business and organization.
Ability to communicate, develop, and leverage strategic business relationships across the organization and externally.
Experience working with enterprise data systems or policy/insurance data platforms is a plus
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., UC4 or similar schedulers) is a plus
Data visualization development/design experience (Tableau Preferred) is a plus
