Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential property, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-control questions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, roadways, common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and property amenities to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, documenting incidents, observations, and relevant daily activity.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is required.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 21 years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
