Summary of Role:
This role is primarily responsible for accurate check posting, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring timely scanning and distribution of documents to the appropriate internal teams. A Notary Public certification is strongly preferred.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Post incoming payments (checks) accurately and timely into internal systems
Prepare and process outgoing mail, including sorting, labeling, and shipment coordination
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
Scan and index incoming mail/documents to the appropriate departments and team members
Track and log incoming payments and mail to ensure proper routing and accountability
Assist with basic data entry and clerical support tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with company procedures and confidentiality requirements
Perform notary services when required (if certified)
Minimum Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous clerical, administrative, or payment processing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with financial transactions
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, document scanning systems, and data entry)
Ability to manage routine, repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency
Strong organizational and time management skills
Active Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office-based role
May require sitting for extended periods and occasional standing, walking, and lifting mail trays or packages
Starting Compensation: $18.91 - $22.69/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
