2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:25 p.m.-1:55 a.m.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to perform machining operations.
- Set up and operate manual lathes, grinders, and mills for manual machining operations.
- Fabricate new components according to engineering drawings.
- Modify components according to drawings or engineering instructions.
- Perform work in accordance with customer specifications, quality requirements, and production standards.
- Complete assigned jobs according to due dates provided through the scheduling system.
- Report job status and progress using the current scheduling system.
What You Bring
- Two-year Machine Tool diploma or degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to set up CNC lathes and mills.
- Ability to set up manual lathes, grinders, and mills for manual machining operations.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and instructions.
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to use a computerized scheduling system to manage assigned work and report progress.
