Job Description

AFC Sanctions Policy, Advisory and Training (PAT) is responsible for developing and owning Sanctions Policies and Procedures to meet all requirements of relevant Regulations and Notices and reflect risk appetite and risk management philosophy as dictated by the Bank. 
AFC Sanctions PAT supports relevant stakeholders (primarily the 1st and 1.5 lines), in designing, putting in place and executing ongoing controls to meet requirements of the AML/CFT Policies and Procedures.  
AFC Sanctions PAT, as subject matter expert in Economic Sanctions, is the point of escalation on Sanctions related matters at Group level, working with Country Compliance as required. 
AFC Sanctions PAT oversees the execution of controls by relevant stakeholders (primarily the 1st and 1.5 lines), for compliance with requirements of Sanctions Policies and Procedures and principle of sound risk management and reports its assessment to relevant Senior Management.
