Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Team Leader – COE (Global Payroll Reporting & Configuration) to lead a high‑performing team responsible for delivering the core configuration, calculation logic, and reporting frameworks that power Strada Pay.
In this leadership role, you will guide a team of COE Specialists who design, build, and maintain complex payroll reports, calculation rules, and client/country‑specific configurations across our global payroll platform. You will ensure global consistency, technical excellence, compliance, and innovation — while embodying and reinforcing our values: Anticipate, Own, Challenge, Empower, Care.
Your leadership will strengthen the quality and scalability of our platform, streamline operational processes, and elevate Strada Pay’s value for clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Strategy
- Provide strategic direction, coaching, and day‑to‑day leadership to a multi‑country team of COE specialists.
- Set clear performance expectations, ensuring accountability for quality, accuracy, efficiency, and delivery timelines.
- Build a culture of innovation, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Plan capacity, prioritize work, and allocate resources across competing client and platform demands.
- Drive cross‑team alignment through structured governance, knowledge sharing, and global standards.
2. Operational & Technical Excellence
- Ensure high‑quality delivery of all calculation rules, country/client configurations, and reporting frameworks owned by the COE.
- Oversee team execution of product releases, configuration updates, and regulatory changes across markets.
- Maintain consistency of global payroll design while allowing for local statutory variations.
- Ensure rigorous documentation, version control, configuration libraries, and reusable assets.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements that reduce defects, rework, and manual intervention.
3. Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
- Act as the primary liaison among COE, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Operations, and Country Champions.
- Influence product roadmaps by translating frontline technical insights into scalable platform enhancements.
- Provide leadership oversight during client implementations, expansions, and complex solution requests.
- Partner with Compliance & Country SMEs to ensure alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support Sales and Pre‑Sales teams by validating solution feasibility and contributing technical expertise.
4. Compliance, Quality & Risk Management
- Guide the team in monitoring global payroll regulatory changes and assessing configuration impacts.
- Ensure timely updates to Strada Pay’s calculation engines, country logic, and statutory reporting.
- Lead quality governance, including defect reviews, impact assessments, and root‑cause analysis.
- Establish strong internal controls and enforce consistent QA processes across the team.
5. Platform Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Foster a mindset of challenging the status quo — improving rule design, reporting logic, automation, and platform scalability.
- Champion the development of standard templates, reusable configuration assets, and global frameworks.
- Promote the adoption of AI‑driven tools, validation engines, and diagnostics embedded in Strada Pay.
- Drive initiatives that improve client experience, reporting accuracy, data visibility, and operational efficiency.
How You Lead Through Our Values

You foresee upcoming regulatory, technical, or client needs and proactively position the team to deliver scalable, future‑ready solutions.
Own
You take full responsibility for the team’s output and the accuracy, quality, and stability of the configurations and reports they deliver.
Challenge
You constructively challenge assumptions, legacy processes, and inefficient designs — encouraging innovation and smarter solutions.
Empower
You coach and develop your team, ensure knowledge flows across functions, and remove blockers so people can do their best work.
Care
You create an environment of trust, respect, and psychological safety — and ensure that every employee whose pay depends on Strada Pay receives a flawless, compliant outcome.
