## Job Summary
Micron Technology is seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Director to lead recruitment and workforce development strategies across Taiwan. This role will supervise two core teams: one focused on recruitment operations and the other on university and workforce strategies. The Director will be responsible for driving innovative hiring strategies, strengthening Micron’s employer brand, building sustainable talent pipelines aligned with business goals and Micron’s values, and accelerating hiring execution through responsible adoption of AI and automation.
## Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment activities across Taiwan, ensuring alignment with global TA strategies and local business needs.
- Lead and innovate to pioneer a diversified talent ecosystem through strategic university engagement and workforce development strategies.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that support inclusion and workforce planning targets.
- Partner with business leaders, HRBPs, and global TA teams to forecast hiring needs and deliver timely, high-quality talent solutions.
- Maintain compliance with local labor laws and Micron’s internal governance standards, including fair hiring practices and audit readiness.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered recruiting technologies and automation to improve recruiter productivity, decision quality, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes while ensuring responsible and compliant use of AI.
- Foster a culture of speed and execution excellence by simplifying processes, accelerating decision-making, and reducing hiring cycle times without compromising quality or compliance.
- Represent Micron Taiwan in external forums, conferences, and university advisory boards.
- Collaborate with global and regional TA leaders to share best practices and contribute to global initiatives.
- Assess and drive key hiring metrics, including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, offer acceptance, and hiring-cycle efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Taiwan TA team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Support employer branding efforts in Taiwan, including social media campaigns and talent storytelling initiatives.
## Job Requirements
## Minimum Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing recruitment and university engagement programs in Taiwan.
- Solid understanding of Taiwan’s labor market, university ecosystem, and employment regulations.
## Must-Have Technical Skills
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment and strategic workforce planning.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms such as Workday, recruitment analytics, and sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with university engagement frameworks and internship program design.
- Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices and compliance frameworks.
- Experience implementing recruitment technologies and tools supported by AI/machine learning.
- Demonstrated ability to bring to bear generative AI, talent intelligence platforms, and automation tools to improve talent acquisition strategy, sourcing, assessment, workforce planning, and recruiter efficiency.
- Solid understanding of responsible AI principles, data privacy requirements, and governance considerations in recruiting and HR processes.

- Familiarity with Micron initiatives such as NTP (Non-Traditional Pathway).
- Demonstrated track record of leading AI-enabled transformation initiatives, building organizational capability in AI adoption, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve talent outcomes and business performance.
