BIM Engineer I

Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a BIM Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to support the delivery of infrastructure and utility projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating BIM models, producing design documentation, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements, BIM standards, and quality expectations.

Your role

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models for infrastructure and utility projects.
• Collaborate with design engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to support project execution and design integration.
• Prepare and update project deliverables, including models, drawings, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Create and modify utility layouts, alignments, corridors, surfaces, feature lines, and pipe networks using BIM and Civil 3D tools.
• Perform model coordination, clash detection, and conflict resolution using platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
• Support the preparation of plans, profiles, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Conduct model quality checks and ensure compliance with project BIM standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve technical and design issues.
• Contribute to the efficient and timely delivery of project objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination for infrastructure, utilities, or multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience in modelling and coordinating wet and dry utility networks, including power, street lighting, telecom, ICT, and water infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, standards, and project delivery processes.
• Ability to develop and manage utility networks, surfaces, corridors, and associated design elements.
• Experience in producing engineering drawings, plans, profiles, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural teams.
