Description
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join CSL’s Corporate and External Affairs (CEA) group, supporting two senior leaders, the Head of Corporate Affairs and the Head of Corporate & External Affairs for Research & Development, Business Development and Enabling Functions, and providing assistance to their teams.
You will be central to the success of a high-profile, globally connected corporate function—managing priorities, strengthening team coordination and supporting leaders.
Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across Australia, the United States and Europe, the Executive Assistant will help manage priorities, coordinate activities and optimise the function’s effectiveness across a diverse portfolio.
The role will also provide operational and administrative support to Melbourne-based members of the CEA team, helping drive collaboration, engagement and business impact.
You will thrive here if you are highly organised, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced global environment.
Key deliverables
Executive effectiveness: Manage complex calendars, priorities, global travel and correspondence
Team coordination: Track actions, improve workflows, share information across regions and support team engagement and recognition
Meetings and events: Coordinate local and global meetings, conferences and visitors, including agendas, materials, minutes, logistics and budgets
High-quality outputs: Prepare and edit presentations, reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, research and expense submissions
Financial administration: Manage budgets, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, contractor payments and cost-centre tracking through to completion
Trusted partnership: Handle sensitive information with discretion, anticipate needs and provide responsive support across the CEA team.
What you bring
At least five years’ experience supporting senior executives in a complex, fast-paced environment
Exceptional organisation, judgement, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels and across cultures
Advanced capability in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with experience using Copilot; familiarity with Canva is valued
Demonstrated experience coordinating complex international travel, meetings and events
Experience with Workday, Ariba, Concur and SharePoint is preferred; a qualification in business administration or a related field is advantageous
Closing date for applications: Wednesday 26th August 2026
Melbourne CBD
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days each week in the office.
