SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Passive Fire Protection Engineer, will be responsible for managing and preparing, providing quality fire engineering support independently on assigned projects that will enable the sales to secure the projects. Certain defined project types shall be quality-checked by Senior Engineer or Fire Engineering Service Manager.The position is based in Riyadh and reports to the Infrastructure Manager.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for project take off/estimation for assigned Steel master and Jotachar enquiry projects on a daily basis for both hydrocarbon & cellulosic projects.
Responsible for providing timely return of Fire Engineering services at the required quality of assigned cellulosic and hydrocarbon projects to sales and external customers
Coordinate with the Global Fire Engineering Service team for all the technical specifications of Steel master and Jotachar products to the Jotun sales network, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance will be followed.
To assists sales in technical discussions to respond to customer needs and to position Jotun as preferred supplier.
Provide support to sales account responsible for winning projects by giving quick and proper analysis of the project and competition and assisting in discussions with customers.
Preparation of Plan swift marked up drawings as and when required by project/ customers and experienced in implementing structural and fire engineering principles

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of intumescent fire protection industry.
Fluency in English – both verbal and written.
Trained in implementing structural and fire engineering principles
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
