Description
Overview
Seeking a source inspector to conduct on site inspections of primers and energetic components to ensure full compliance.
WIll be reviewing technical data packages, contractual obligations, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Lot acceptance inspection of energetic/primer components
2. Verification of conformance to Technical Data Package (TDP)
3. Dimensional, visual, and functional inspection per industry and customer specifications
4. Witnessing of required tests (as applicable)
5. Review of manufacturing records, certifications, and lot history
6. Verification of compliance with prime contract requirements
7. Documentation of findings and formal release authorization prior to shipment
8. Immediate escalation of nonconformances or deviations
9. Ammo Data Card Reviews
10. Review and audit of supplier processes and procedures
12. Inspector must comply with all safety and handling requirements.
13. Daily or per lot reporting required depending on production flow. 5 AS9100, ISO 9001:2015.
Qualifications
Inspector must be qualified for energetics/primer inspection
Must have 10+ years of quality experience in the defense industry.
Must have experience working in supplier quality or source inspection.
Must have strong computer skills to work with program such as email, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have strong communucation skills.
