## Job Description

They use innovative predictive methods, analyze risks, and prioritize sustainability and diversity. You will meet requirements of AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicable and leverage AI to continuously drive efficiency improvement.

As a Category Supplier Manager in the Global MRO & Facilities Service team, you will lead category strategy and sourcing for Process Systems – Gas and Chemical, along with related MRO supplies across Micron's global fab network. You will confirm strategies with the Global Category Manager and internal partners. You will also conduct strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and complete negotiation using supplier and industry analysis, benchmarking, and cost management. You will meet requirements of AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicable and leveraging AI to continuously drive efficiency improvement.

## Key Responsibilities

• Develop and complete global category strategies for Gas, Chemical (chemical filters, gas purifiers, gas detector parts, chemical pumps).
• Align with global facility collaborators on standardization, alternative sourcing, and value engineering opportunities.
• Lead bidding, price-book negotiations, and long-term agreements with key OEM and non-OEM suppliers (e.g., Entegris, Pall, Honeywell, Levitronix, Ovivo, Organo, Kurita).
• Drive ITS (Improvement to Spend) savings through volume consolidation across TW/SG/JP and other regions applicable.
• Act as the procurement contact for construction-related direct sourcing of chemical filters, gas detectors, and process system consumables for new fab expansions
• Lead supplier qualifications, performance scorecards, and business continuity plans.
• Drive supplier development for cost, quality, and lead time improvement.
• Collaborate with Global Facilities Engineering, Technology Development, Regional CSM teams, and IBM Operations to align global category strategy with regional execution.

## Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier management, preferably in semiconductor, chemicals, or facility process systems.
• AI proficiency, demonstrating AI knowledge, Meet expectations of AI adoption
• Proficient in English and Mandarin
• Experience in EPC / construction package sourcing is a strong plus.
