Description
Arcadia is looking for a hands-on Construction Superintendent to run the day-to-day of multiple residential construction projects, working alongside our Senior Project Manager to deliver on-time, on-budget, high-quality homes. You'll be the person on-site who keeps schedules moving, subcontractors accountable, and quality standards non-negotiable.
This is a rare opportunity to build high-end custom homes within a single, close-knit subdivision. Join a small company offering direct access to ownership and leadership. This role is open because we are growing. As we expand, so does the opportunity for you to grow with us.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily site operations across multiple active projects
- Own quality control; inspect work at every phase and catch issues before they hit schedule or budget
- Build and manage the master schedule and 3-week look-ahead with the Senior Project Manager
- Drive project timelines through proactive planning and coordination of labor, materials, inspections, and subcontractors
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee all subcontractors; recommend when additional trades are needed
- Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable to their contracted scope of work
- Run on-site project meetings with subcontractors and trade leads
- Develop and manage project punch lists from start to close-out
- Maintain daily job site logs and required documentation
- Represent the company on-site with homeowners, architects, designers, consultants, and trade partners
- Lead owner walkthroughs and provide progress updates as requested
- Keep the job site safe, organized, and compliant with company safety policy
Requirements
What You Bring
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum age 18
- 5+ years of residential construction superintendent experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of residential construction methods, codes, and blueprint reading
- Strong scheduling, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfort with construction management software and mobile tech
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as projects demand
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, and stand/move continuously for up to 8 hours in an outdoor work environment.
