Description
Meet the team:
Dexcom’s business is experiencing strong global growth, and Global Supply Chain Planning & Advanced Analytics (GSCPAA) is expanding the Operations Excellence team within Dexcom Global Business Services (GBS). GSCPAA partners across Operations, Finance, Quality, IT, and site teams to enable end-to-end supply chain excellence.
This Senior Business Analyst will accelerate global scale and consistency by strengthening supply chain governance, standard ways of working, and the digital capabilities that support connected planning and inventory decisions across regions. The role will help deliver enterprise priorities tied to supply assurance, quality, working capital, and P&L performance through sustainable processes, data, system improvements, and digitization of the Dexcom supply chain.
This position is based in Dexcom GBS and is aligned to the GSCPAA organization, with day-to-day prioritization provided by the Director of Supply Chain Operational Excellence.
Where you come in:
- Lead end-to-end discovery for complex, cross-functional problems, aligning stakeholders on the true problem, scope, success criteria, and decision points
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and solution options (process, data, systems), including trade-offs, risks, and a recommended path forward
- Map current and future state processes and identify root causes, control gaps, and opportunities to simplify, standardize, and scale across global sites
- Define KPIs and operating measures that drive accountability, then build the review rhythm and clarity on owners/actions to keep outcomes on track
- Facilitate working sessions with global supply chain, finance, quality, operations, and IT, driving decisions to closure and maintaining focus on the goal vs. local preferences
- Partner with IT, analytics, and vendors through design, build, testing, and deployment, including UAT strategy, cutover readiness, training, and change management
- Contribute to global supply chain excellence initiatives (including inventory governance and health) by ensuring solutions are practical, controlled, and sustainable
What makes you successful:
- Bring 8+ years in business analysis, process excellence, or similar roles delivering cross-functional improvements from discovery through implementation
- Demonstrate influence without authority: rally a room, manage conflict, reset priorities to the goal, and hold stakeholders accountable to actions and timelines
- Show proven ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments through crisp problem statements, structured analysis, and decision-ready recommendations
- Apply strong process and requirements skills: process mapping, root cause analysis, and well-written requirements and acceptance criteria that reduce rework
- Use a data-driven, commercially aware approach: advanced Excel; comfort with SQL and/or BI tools (Tableau/Power BI); ability to connect improvements to service, cost, and working capital impacts
- Leverage solid grounding in global supply chain concepts (planning, procurement, inventory, logistics) and experience with ERP and planning platforms (Oracle preferred; Anaplan a plus)
- Maintain strong delivery discipline: organized execution, proactive risk and issue management, dependable follow-through, and clear stakeholder communication across time zones
- Able to flex working hours to support core collaboration hours with Pacific Time stakeholders and key global partners
- Bring Lean/Six Sigma familiarity as a plus (certification not required), with a practical mindset focused on outcomes over methodology.
