About the Role

The SAP BTP Integration Manager is accountable for governance, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of SAP integration platforms, particularly SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors) and legacy integration technologies. The role works closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, implementation partners, and external vendors to deliver high-quality integration solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Reporting to the Head of ERP Integration Platform, the role is accountable for defining, enforcing integration standards, design principles. Build secure, resilient, compliant, performant, and future-ready integration while supporting Haleon's transformation journey from current ERP environments to SAP RISE.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Governance

• Define and enforce integration standards, design principles, and best practices.
• Ensure integrations comply with Haleon policies, audit requirements, security, and privacy standards.
• Support integration design reviews and technology assessments
• Enables technical readiness and execution of ERP Integration from current ERP Integration tools to SAP BTP-IS.
• Contributes to transition planning, cutover activities, risk management, and operational handover.

Delivery & Solution Management

• Work with business teams, SAP functional teams, developers, and implementation partners.
• Review solution designs and ensure integrations meet business requirements.
• Support development, testing, deployment, cutover, and hyper care activities.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation of critical integration incidents.
• Collaborate and work with trading partner for new/existing interfaces.

Platform Modernization

• Lead SAP PO/PI/ IBM Tools to SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) migration initiatives.
• Drive API-first and event-driven integration approaches across the organization.
• Promote use of SAP BTP Integration Suite capabilities such as APIs, Event Mesh, and Cloud Integration.
• Implementation of Dev-ops framework for Agile Development of ERP integration.
• Partner with Security and Risk teams to maintain a secure Integration estate.

Technology Currency & Lifecycle Management

• Define and execute platform lifecycle roadmaps including regular patching and upgrade activities.
• Ensure ERP platforms remain current, supported, and aligned to SAP and vendor roadmaps.
• Govern vulnerability remediation, upgrades, migrations, platform refreshes, and technical debt reduction initiatives.

Compliance, Audit & Controls

• Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGC, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Own ERP platform controls supporting internal and external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of compliance processes and operational governance.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Govern managed service providers and technology partners responsible for platform operations.
• Manage service quality, operational KPIs, contractual obligations, and escalation processes.
• Act as the executive escalation point for major incidents and service disruptions.

Required Experience & Skills

Technical Expertise

• Overall 14+ years' experience across SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) / Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/ SAP Process Integration (PI)/ SAP Process Orchestration (PO). Minimum 5 years of SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS)/ CPI.
• Ability to support full life cycle implementation and support/rollout/migration projects.
• Experience of managing large enterprise ERP with complex integrations and global operations.
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP IS platform monitoring, automation, security, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Good Understanding of Change Management process for Integration Tools.
• Expertise in Dev-ops implementation and managing for Integration.

Leadership & Delivery Experience

• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise integration platforms, including SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI, API Management, and middleware transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing geographically distributed integration teams, implementation partners, and strategic service providers across global delivery models.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex integration and technical topics into business outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead critical integration incidents, platform recovery activities, risk mitigation initiatives, and executive-level escalations.
• Experience operating and governing integration platforms within SOX-regulated and compliance-driven environments, ensuring adherence to security, audit, and data protection requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving integration modernization programs, including cloud migration, API-first strategies, event-driven architectures, and legacy platform rationalization.
• Experience establishing integration governance, standards, best practices, and operational excellence frameworks across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems
