Master Thesis Product Development (x|f|m) 

Join our Product Development team as an Master Thesis Product Development (x|f|m). In this role, you will support the further development and optimization of our cell line development platform for the production of biopharmaceutical products, while focusing on what matters most: better health for more people.
The position is based in Ulm for a period of nine months and includes a three-month internship followed by a six-month master's thesis. You will become part of a team of dedicated colleagues who are excited to shape the future together with you.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

The project focuses on the application of genetic engineering techniques to generate novel designer CHO cells with optimized process performance for the production of biopharmaceuticals. The project includes the following methods:

• Standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. cloning, PCR, ddPCR)
• State-of-the-art genome engineering technologies
• Transfection and cell culture technologies for the generation of stable production cell lines
• Small-scale bioprocesses in fed-batch format 

What Will Convince Us

• Master studies in biology, biochemistry,  biotechnology or similar disciplines
• Basic experience in lab work (CHO cell culture is of advantage)
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques
• High motivation and the ability to work independently
• Structured way of working as well as solution-oriented way of thinking  
• Fluent in English
