Summary
The Inventory Assistant supports the Inventory and Asset Management Team by maintaining accurate inventory and asset records for assigned equipment and materials. This role is responsible for daily ERP system updates, documentation verification, and coordination of asset lifecycle activities including repairs, scrapping, divestments, and ownership changes. The position ensures data integrity within business systems and supports efficient inventory and asset management processes through effective stakeholder communication, reporting, and administrative support.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain and update inventory and asset records in ERP systems, including IFS, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Support inventory and asset-related requests through the Connect customer service portal and provide timely follow-up on open actions.
- Process and support inventory transaction activities within ERP systems in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify and maintain documentation related to asset lifecycle activities, including scrapping, divestments, repairs, ownership transfers, and disposals.
- Maintain inventory trackers, asset databases, and documentation libraries to support operational visibility and compliance.
- Prepare routine reports, summaries, and data analyses related to inventory and asset management activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain pending approvals, confirmations, and supporting documentation required for inventory and asset transactions.
- Perform all duties in compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal controls, while supporting additional business requirements and ad hoc assignments as needed.
Our requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, administration, or a related area.
- English proficiency (minimum B2), both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow established processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS or similar platforms.
- Exposure to inventory, asset management, or supply chain processes.
- Experience supporting data management, reporting, or administrative functions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
