Davis Ice Cream Georgia, LLC is a family-owned wholesale ice cream distributor serving customers throughout Georgia and the Southeast. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Utility Driver / Freezer Equipment Delivery Associate to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for delivering, moving, and installing commercial ice cream freezers and other equipment at customer locations, while also assisting with warehouse operations and providing support wherever needed.

Position Summary

The Utility Driver / Freezer Equipment Delivery Associate is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, placement, and retrieval of commercial freezer equipment. This position requires someone who enjoys physical work, has good customer service skills, and can safely maneuver heavy equipment. When not delivering equipment, you'll assist with warehouse operations, freezer organization, and other general utility duties. Occasional product deliveries may be required to support route operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, unload, move, and position commercial freezer equipment at customer locations.
• Pick up, relocate, exchange, and retrieve freezer equipment as needed.
• Inspect freezer equipment before and after delivery to ensure it is clean and in good working condition.
• Secure equipment for safe transportation and operate company vehicles safely.
• Communicate professionally with customers during equipment deliveries and pickups.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, and maintaining freezer inventory and warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with warehouse operations, order staging, and general facility maintenance.
• Provide support for product deliveries and route coverage when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and maneuver heavy commercial freezer equipment using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in freezer temperatures and in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with deliveries, moving equipment, warehouse work, or material handling is preferred but not required.
