The team
The WB Commercial Office (CCO) steers commercial effectiveness and excellence within ING WB with a strong focus on Wholesale Banking Management Team (WBMT) strategic projects. We work closely with the WBMT stakeholders and business management teams. By also supporting senior management in Sectors and Products across a number of initiatives, we can ensure consistency of approach, coordination & communication, and facilitate successful implementation.
 

Your role
As senior change expert/project lead in the CCO department your role is the delivery of cross-functional regulatory and operational change projects. You lead complex, cross-functional change initiatives that strengthen ING's risk and control environment, ensure regulatory compliance, improve KYC effectiveness and embed Non-Financial Risk (NFR) capabilities across Wholesale Banking. The role operates at the intersection of Business, COO, Risk, Compliance and Operations, ensuring strategic programmes are delivered while maintaining business continuity and regulatory integrity.

Key responsibilities

Programme & Change Leadership, Lead large-scale transformation initiatives involving KYC, AML, NFR, Operational Risk and regulatory remediation.Translate regulatory expectations into executable business change programmes. Stakeholder Management, Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within COO, Risk, Compliance, First Line Business teams, Technology/Data teams. Align differing stakeholder interests and drive decision-making through governance forums. Prepare and present updates to senior management and steering committees. Risk & Control Enhancement. Drive improvements in:

• KYC processes
• Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
• Transaction Monitoring
• Regulatory reporting
• Operational risk management
• Control testing and remediation
• Ensure programmes address root causes rather than tactical fixes.

Regulatory Change Delivery, Coordinate delivery of regulatory commitments and remediation activities. Monitor implementation risks and dependency management. Ensure evidence packs, governance documentation and audit readiness are maintained. Data & Process Transformation, Improve (risk) data quality and management information. Support implementation of workflow and automation capabilities. Drive process redesign using Lean and continuous improvement principles.
