Description
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.
(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and execution of district-wide branding, communications and marketing strategies that align with the ongoing development and business objectives of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
- Plan and execute branding, marketing, communication, promotional campaigns involving brand collaborations, events, and activations to enhance awareness, engagement, and visitation.
- Serve as a gatekeeper of brand integrity by ensuring all communications and marketing initiatives align with established brand guidelines, brand story, and key messaging. Provide guidance and quality assurance to internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand representation across all communication and marketing channels.
- Support the development of on-brand, engaging, and compelling content, marketing collaterals, and communication materials across online and offline touchpoints.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including but not limited to corporations, brand partners, sponsors, agencies, copywriters, designers, photographers, videographers, contractors, and vendors, as well as internal stakeholders across departments, to deliver marketing and branding initiatives effectively.
- Prepare presentation materials, reports, performance analyses, and making recommendations to optimise marketing and communication efforts based on objectives and results.
- Conduct market research and monitoring industry trends, audience insights, and competitor activities to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Assist with administrative and operational matters, including budget monitoring, cost evaluation, procurement documentation, contract administration, and payment processing.
- performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
Reporting Line
- This position reports to the Manager, Marketing and Branding (District Development).
Requirements
- Possess a recognised university degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline with a minimum 5 years of experience in branding, marketing, communications. Candidates with qualifications in arts, culture, or creative disciplines will also be considered.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in planning and executing integrated branding and marketing campaigns, and in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop a wide range of online and offline marketing and communication materials.
- Possess strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with colleagues, partners, agencies, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, including fluent Cantonese, Putonghua, and English.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
