Zalando’s ERP team is looking for a Bucharest based SAP MM , IS-RETAIL Consultant to support the execution of our B2B and P2P strategy by developing and scaling core business processes.

You will join a diverse and international team of 15 ERP consultants managing P2P, B2B, SD and POS processes in on-prem SAP S/4 systems and associated integrations. Our work environment is fast-paced and we utilize the latest SAP technologies. Teamwork and knowledge sharing come first in our team. We encourage innovative thinking and process improvement, automation, even beyond standard SAP practices while we keep our eyes on Clean Core principles..

As a SAP Consultant with emphasis on  P2P, B2B, SD and POS you will offer support to the many stakeholders our broader team serves with a healthy mix of maintenance and project support. With your experience as a consultant, you will also help shape and grow the team and support processes moving forward, sharing and applying your experience.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Lead the solution design and blueprinting for S/4HANA P2P and Inventory Management architectures.

• Design complex SD processes, including Resource-related (nice to have) 

• Intercompany Billing (RRICB) and overstock B2B sales cycles (from quotation to outbound delivery).

• Architect integration patterns (SOAP/REST APIs, IDocs) for POS sales and return transactions.

• Define the overarching strategy for MRP replenishment, internal warehouse optimization, and article master data governance.

• Lead architectural workshops, manage solution documentation, and oversee the cutover and hypercare phases for major rollouts.

• Act as the primary bridge between the business (Supply Chain, Finance, Retail Operations) and IT, translating high-level business goals into scalable technical roadmaps.

• Govern the overall system architecture across S/4HANA (MM/SD/POS), Coupa, and VIM.
   

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• Experience: 5 - 8+ years of SAP MM/SD experience, with at least 2 full end-to-end S/4HANA implementations in a retail or FMCG environment.

• You have strong English language skills to thrive in an international environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experiences.

• SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
