Description
The PL Select Team Leader drives the performance, efficiency, and culture of the PL Select team. This role oversees daily operations, coaches team members for growth and development, reinforces Select processes, and leads continuous improvement efforts. By monitoring key performance metrics and addressing challenges proactively, the Team Leader helps the team consistently meet and exceed expectations.
The role also serves as a key partner across the business, collaborating with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to enhance service and support organizational goals. As a primary liaison within the RSC and Select organization, the Team Leader aligns priorities, shares insights, and fosters strong relationships, helping create a high-performing, client-focused environment.
Your Impact:
- Drive growth and retention by leading the PL Select office to meet or exceed client satisfaction, retention, and revenue goals—while maintaining a strong, service-first culture.
- Shape how the team works and wins by owning standardized workflows, setting clear KPIs in partnership with regional leadership, and continuously improving processes for speed, quality, and consistency.
- Lead, coach, and develop talent by establishing professional development strategies, coordinating onboarding and training, and providing ongoing feedback through performance reviews.
- Balance leadership with client impact by managing a reduced book of business, allowing you to stay connected to clients while prioritizing team leadership and strategic initiatives
- Strengthen key partnerships by collaborating with regional and national leaders, managing carrier and vendor relationships, and representing PL Select across service teams and specialty practices.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining accurate system documentation and leveraging tools and data to support seamless service, compliance, and communication.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- BA/BS preferred
- P&C Insurance License required
- 7 or more years’ experience in personal lines
- Proven ability to provide strong leadership to growing team in a fast-paced, growth-focused organization
- Client-facing experience at an insurance company or brokerage
- Ability to work collaboratively across business practice both regionally and enterprise-wide
- Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, hear, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range:
$64,800 - $93,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
