Overview

Your role

• Initiate, issue, and administer purchase orders and contracts in accordance with established procedures.

• Ensure that all required supplier documentation is in place.

• Verify that purchase orders are acknowledged and accepted by suppliers.

• Provide support to project managers and engineers by guiding them through the appropriate procedures for preparing contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation.

• Prepare formal amendments or change orders for approved changes; manage, prepare, issue, and monitor change requests.

• Work collaboratively with the Finance Department to reconcile invoices.

About you

• 2-5 years purchasing or procurement experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Knowledge of SAP Ariba/Oracle ERP systems, proficient in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

• Dedicated team player with well-established interpersonal and client-facing skills.

• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.

• Act as a resource person for procurement, purchasing and contract management for project teams.

• Working in hybrid mode.

• Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.

• Bilingual in English and French *

* This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
