Your Role:
The FAST Lead is a functional leader within the Finance Application Systems Transformation (FAST) organization, accountable for designing, operating, and continuously improving finance application and finance master data capabilities in Finance Master Data Enablement within J.D. Edwards (JDE).
What you'll be doing:
- Enable intercompany, distribution costing, and transfer pricing system capabilities, including configuration, controls, and L2 support
- Perform and support security reviews and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls across finance applications, ensuring compliance with audit and governance requirements
- Enforce testing discipline within finance applications, ensuring all changes are validated, controlled, and audit-compliant prior to release
- Provide audit support for finance systems, including documentation, evidence preparation, and control validation
- Deliver horizontal oversight across all FAST domains (A2R, P2P, O2C, MDM) to ensure consistency in system design, controls, and operating practices
- Identify and drive standardization of controls, configuration patterns, and operating approaches across domains
- Provide L2 support and functional expertise for complex, cross-domain issues impacting finance systems and reporting
Depending on assignment, a FAST Analyst may be accountable for one or more of the following domains:
- Accounting to Report (A2R / Close): GL, close, valuation, FX, intercompany, transfer pricing, and costing system enablement
- Procure to Pay (P2P): AP, accruals, liabilities, and P2P related close dependencies
- Order to Cash (O2C): AR, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue impacting configurations
- Finance Master Data Enablement: Enablement and control of finance relevant attributes (e.g., GL structures, accounting attributes, reference data) aligned to Enterprise MDM standards
- SOX & Controls: Finance application security, access, segregation of duties, and audit support
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in finance systems, JDE enablement, or finance transformation roles
- Strong experience in finance systems, JDE enablement, or finance transformation, ideally within complex global environments
- Solid understanding of intercompany, costing, transfer pricing, close processes, accounting principles, and SOX/internal controls
- Hands-on knowledge of JDE finance modules, finance applications, system integrations, security models, and access controls
- Experience with finance application security, Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit requirements, and control frameworks
- Ability to govern testing, validate system changes, support releases, and ensure audit-ready documentation and evidence
- Proven capability to provide L2 support, resolve complex cross-domain issues, and perform root-cause analysis
- Ability to work across A2R, P2P, O2C, MDM, Finance, IT, Data, Tax, Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain system, control, audit, and compliance risks clearly to stakeholders
- Continuous improvement mindset, focused on simplifying processes, strengthening controls, improving governance, and standardizing practices
- Fluent English
