We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver software development and ServiceNow-related projects.
The ideal candidate has strong project leadership skills, experience managing medium-to-large teams, and solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Coordinate all aspects of the project throughout the software development lifecycle using established methodologies
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and documentation.
- Hold service review meetings with Customer via, monthly, and quarterly governance meetings.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to customers, management, and stakeholders.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all project documentation.
- Ensure normal service operation is restored as quickly as possible and the business impact is minimized
Technical & Process Leadership
- Gather and support the creation of requirements documentation.
- Write or review design and implementation documents when necessary.
- Meet with customer regularly to provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on customers future vision.
- Deliver future state roadmaps and assist with evangelizing strategy and roadmaps to customer’s internal business groups.
- Assist with Operational architectural design and guidance on the existing Platform.
- Ensure best practices and quality standards are followed throughout the project.
- Support testing and deployment activities, including post‑go‑live processes.
Team Leadership
- Manage teams of up to 20 people, working directly with customers and other stakeholders to deliver the project.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance support to team members.
- Be involved in the recruitment/interview process when needed.
- Approve software tools, licenses, and project-related purchases when appropriate.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Work closely with onshore teams, customers, and directors as required.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3+ years of project management experience.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.
- PMP, iTIL certification is a plus.
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
- Experience with SaaS platforms or workflow/automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce….).
- Understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes.
